On Feb. 27, the fashion collective group Rags $2 Riches Detroit held its fourth annual fashion show and gala at The Jam Handy concert venue. Sponsored by The Salvation Army, the production featured thrifted fashion by emerging fashion creative Stephanie “Thebagladie” Bedell and other local Detroit designers. Fashion leaders, business owners, and local influencers — dressed in formal all-black attire — enjoyed art, music from DJ Rue, and a dazzling display of chic but sustainable fashion.

Thrifted runway looks prove that sustainable fashion is chic.
