This unique celebration showcases finger lickin' barbecue from leading pit masters, hand-crafted cocktails from select Michigan distilleries and live music from hometown favorites. The best part? Proceeds benefit Michigan Hospice. Tickets are $50 in advance or $75 at the door, and includes 3 servings of BBQ and 3 craft cocktails. Brenda Goodman, Detroit native and CCS grad, has a new exhibit, Brenda Goodman: Back on Willis Street, at the Simone DeSousa Gallery featuring 15 new works. This exhibit pays homage to her first solo exhibition that took place at the Willis Gallery in 1973. Meet the artist at the opening reception or visit the exhibit before June 10. Earth Day Camp at Indian Springs Metropark, White Lake

Help kids celebrate Earth Day with a day camp at Indian Springs Metropark. Participants will learn to be better stewards of the environment at parks and in nature and how to reduce our carbon footprint in age-appropriate ways. Activities include fun projects like composting in a bottle, making paper pulp stationery,  and building a bee house. The $40 camp is open to children 7 and older and runs from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. metroparks.com

This includes Semi-Dry Riesling, Select Harvest Riesling, Sparkling Riesling, Pomeranz, and Reserve Riesling. Plus you'll be the first to try the PRE-RELEASE of the 2020 Reserve Riesling! Tickets are $30 and includes the the presentation with Kasey, 2 oz pours of all of the Rieslings and lite bites that accompany the wines, and a $5 credit toward any in-stock Shady Lane Cellars wine.
