Cranbrook’s historic homes came to life during a Cranbrook fundraiser at Cranbrook House on June 24. Guests toured the Cranbrook House, Saarinen House and the recently added Frank Lloyd Wright Smith House. Attendees enjoyed live music, auctions, food and fashion matching the era of each home. Special guests of the night included Anne Smith Towbes, whose family recently donated the Smith House,Virginia Fox, the granddaughter of Cranbrook’s founders, and  Robert Saarinen Swanson and Karen Swanson, grandson and great granddaughter of Loja and Eliel Saarinen. Over $70,000 was raised to support the Cranbrook Center for Collections and Research.
